Mark is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in community based aged care and rehabilitation, Aboriginal health, and palliative care.
Mark has a strong focus on the development and implementation of evidence informed practice. This can be seen in his commitment to continuous education, holding a Master of Public Health and Doctor of Philosophy. His research is focused on frailty in older adults, identification of risk factors, and strategies of reduction of risk. Mark is an Adjunct Research Fellow with the University of Adelaide.

Mark provides outreach Occupational Therapy services to remote South Australia working with local Aboriginal Primary Health Services and Aged Care Providers.

As of late 2024, the allied health services delivered by Inspire Therapy in metropolitan Adelaide and inner regional SA have transferred to new service providers. The directors of these services are former Inspire Therapy clinical team members. Our aim has been to maximise the continuity of care for clients.
