Mark is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in community based aged care and rehabilitation, Aboriginal health, and palliative care.

Mark has a strong focus on the development and implementation of evidence informed practice. This can be seen in his commitment to continuous education, holding a Master of Public Health and Doctor of Philosophy. His research is focused on frailty in older adults, identification of risk factors, and strategies of reduction of risk. Mark is an Adjunct Research Fellow with the University of Adelaide.
